Mother Mary Patrick, a co-founder of the Daughters of the Immaculata serves as Mother General for the community. Born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y., she served as a Registered Nurse for 22 years in hospital work.
Mother is an avid reader and, in fact, has written 2 novels, one which was published and is presently being made into a movie. She enjoys listening to music, loves to work on Genealogy, and does crossword puzzles.
She hopes you won't hold this against her, but she is also a loyal NY Yankee fan!
Mother operates Marytown Press, the vehicle for filling orders for material on Consecration in the Militia Immaculata, and also material on St. Maximilian Kolbe.
She is very proficient on the computer and she enjoys tutoring her Sisters in that subject.
Mother chose her Religious Name to honor her Irish roots. Her paternal grandparents were born in Ireland. She is very proud to hold dual citizenship as an American and Irish citizen.
