Daughters.
We are daughters of the Heavenly Father according to the heart of our Immaculata.
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it” (Jesus).
Behold Your Mother.
What we do.
Pondering the image above, we can almost hear a dialogue.
“Mama, do you see my heart?”
“Yes, son. I see Your Heart. It is a Good Heart.”
“But Mama, do you see my heart?”
“Yes, son. Yes. I see it. It is a Good Heart.”
And so the love between them echoes.
This poetic colloquy served as a synopsis of the DI's interior disposition.
In the same way that our Sisters are loved into life, so our Sisters will sustain the gaze of our brothers and sisters while calling them to the Heart of the Church, the only source of true and lasting life.
Our first apostolate is prayer. Everything follows this first obedience, this first love. Our apostolate of calling people to live in obedience to the Great Commandment comes from this first obedience, which engenders in each Daughter a spirit of humble obedience after the discerning heart of our Immaculata.

We were born at the foot of the holy cross. We are continually renewed and reborn from above. "Born from above" (Saint John) and "Born of a Woman" Saint Paul).
-
We live the Marian disposition of magnanimity insofar as we are called to receive everything as a gift and give everything for souls.

"What do you have that you have not been given?" asks Saint Paul. So too our lives are to be poured our like a fragrant aroma, a libation unto the glory of the Most Blessed Trinity and the upbuilding of the Body of Christ.
